The Internet is a valuable resource to the customer because auto dealers no longer control the information that you need to make an informed decision.  Below are some of the many websites that help consumers research the vehicle that they want to buy.  Each website allows you to enter the specifics of the vehicles that you are looking for, including mileage, color, and features like air-conditioning and cruise control.  The website then provides information about what the fair market value for your vehicle is. 

http://www.kbb.com  This is the official website of the Kelley Blue Book, which has always been considered the authority on vehicle pricing.  On this website you can find information about the Private Party value of your vehicle, as well as information about Dealer pricing, Trade-In value, and consumer ratings.

http://www.nada.com  NADA stands for National Auto Dealers Association, and this is the little yellow/orange book that your bank’s loan officer pulls out to determine how much the bank should loan on a vehicle.  The site has a similar format and layout to the Kelley Blue Book site, and also allows you to find Private Party, Retail, and Trade-In values.

  
Step 2: Contact Northwest Auto Search.

You have done the research.  Now you enlist Northwest Auto Search to find the vehicle you want at the price that you found in your research.  Contact Northwest Auto Search at (509) 969-6654 or at our office, and give us the specifics of the vehicle that you want to buy.  Print one of the pages from the Kelley Blue Book or the NADA site and tell us exactly what you are looking for.  Color, condition, mileage, make and model!  We will do everything we can to find the vehicle that you want at the price you want to pay!

Northwest Auto Search will visit dealer auctions around the Northwest; in Portland, Seattle, Spokane, even California.  All of these vehicles have clean titles.  If we find a vehicle that matches your description, we will bring it back for you to view without a commitment to buy.  There is no contrat and no obligation to buy the vehicle.

You can continue to look at other dealerships for a vehicle that you want to buy.  If for any reason you are not interested in purchasing the vehicle we found, you can turn down the offer.  The customer maintains the control of the situation, and we will find another customer to purchase the vehicle.  You are not required to buy the vehicle that we bring back, and we will continue to look for the vehicle that you want to purchase.  The customer is in control of the dealer, and that helps customers make the best decision.
